Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

Program: Parole

Job Description:

Responsible for coordination of the clinical operation of the program

Offers counseling services to the clients and significant others

Confers with counselors in planning for comprehensive treatment plans and procedures

Participates in community activities related to health and welfare of substance abuse clients

Provide direct consultation and supervision to the Substance Abuse Counselors

Advice clients as to community resources when necessary

Review charts to monitor adherence to city, state and federal regulations by counselors

Utilize resources of community agencies involved in the different therapeutic aspects of the clients

Carries out other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Certified and currently registered by the NYS Dept. of Education or eligible; CSW, MSW, other related human service, maters degree or CASAC, BA and specialized training (CASAC) supervisory experience. Or High school diploma, CASAC credentials and five (5) years experience in the treatment chemical dependency abuse services including one (1) year of supervisory experience. Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
