The Primary Care Unit goal is to provide qualitative HIV counseling and testing services for adults from the Mott Haven community and its surrounding areas. In the Primary Care Unit we take a client centered approach and meet the client where they are at. The staff at HPMSC is culturally sensitive and bi-lingual. All treatment and educational literature is available in English and Spanish. Here at HPMSC staff works with clients in identifying their needs and developing a treatment plan in order to come up with a solution in order to address their problems. Staff attends regular trainings in order to improve on their skills to ensure qualitative services to its clients.
